Once you have fully assembled your box then you need to paint it inside and out.Do not stress about the colours you can paint it any colour of choice.Okay, now if those cells have wax on them then we need to clean it off now. Heat 2 pots of water until boiling point, one with soap and one without. You need to now place the cells in the plain hot water pot to break up the wax and then move the cells afterwards to the soapy water to clean off the residue.Just a quick reminder to not throw any of the water in both pots out into the sink as when this mixture cools it can clog up your drain.

Once completed, you will have to glue them to the pegboard, use a bit of silicone placed in the centre of your cell.Remember if you want to turn the board over get another person to help you.

Use copper braid or regular wire to interconnect the cells.Place the cells in the sun and test them with a volt meter now to make sure that they are working.

Another step that is necessary is that of the placing of a blocking diode. This will help to prevent the battery from discharging when it’s a cloudy day or night time.Running of the wires to the outside of the box, and placing your plugs for the switch should be completed.

You can now cover the box with plexiglass but before you do this test the cells one more time then cover the box and place it where you require it.
